BORED, TIRED, 'SIEN', SICK OF EVERYTHING..... Haih, not really everything. All i want now is to have a nice, warm and cozy night sleep on 'my' bed. It'll be awesome if it's my queen size bed at home. oh well...

But I have to endure, maybe another hour or so to finish up my unfinished and never-will-be-able to finished tutorial homework for tomorrow!!!! And here I am blogging! I sound like a true, addicted blogger, but I honestly haven't been blogging for weeks, maybe months? Yes, months~

At least I'm trying to read now, so i won't be all clueless tomorrow when the lecturer runs through the questions. =) OK, back to books!!! & You should too!

Episode 0: First Snow

It all begins when I, Yuuki, first take a step to this new side of the world, Glasgow - the largest city in Scotland. When young, I was sent to a kindergarten and was taught by a Scottish couple (well at least the wife is a scottish, not sure about her husband though). But I wasn't really thought much by her compared to my sister. She basically know quite a number of popular songs that are still sung by scottish people during different events or places. Years passed and now i'm on this land with my bunch of batchmates who took the same course as me.

It was quite a dreadful experience at 1st, as i really miss home. And it was my first time trying to manage Cooking myself! XD I LOVE FOOD, hence, without good food, i became even more emotional and sour.

Ofcourse, Weeks passed.... Been busy with house chores and work. Well, I am here to study, gain knowledge and ENJOY! So no time to brood about my sorrows.

It's in November when the weather started to change, cold chilled wind blows, and leaves falling one by one. 27/11/2010 was the night when snow fall! It was towards our class tests, but we did not hesitate to rush out & started snow fighting among ourselves. we stayed out in the cold night a bit too long, hence, experienced frostbite for the very first time (wonder if this is a good or bad experience). But eventually snow is never that interesting and cute after that night, or the day after. Roads become slippery, trains and flights delayed, lectures cancelled, and worst of all, Exams are delayed (especially when you've prepared so hard for it).

Whats more, my parents came to visit me, had fun shopping and 'grabbing'/choosing souvenirs to bring back home to sister, relatives, friends and colleagues! Went on a Hop On-Hop Off ride. Daddy as usual, being so friendly and outspoken actually asked for extra tickets so i could actually join them.. hehe. Went to see some of the main attractions nearby, Kelvingrove Museum and Art Gallery, Glasgow Uni, Glasgow Green and People's Palace (A Green House).

Many things happened within these few months since i arrived. It was a tough time to manage as i have to study hard and play hard, plus there's also the need to adapt to blend well with the culture and people here. It's not always easy and i've been struggling a lot. Hopefully things will turn out less hectic but as interesting in this new year, 2011!!! =P

VAMPIRES - mythological beings who feeds on blood of living creatures, regardless whether they are undead or living person. They are supposed to be scary and unpleasant creatures, but recently, they have turned out to be elegant, romantic, and all good looking. All these traits must hv brought them to stardom =P See, even my font is red for this special post. Bloody, huh?

Anyway, here are the acquaintances of some of the popular vampire movies?: Twilight, Vampire Diaries, Vampire Knight, Blood+, Dance in the Vampire Bund, etc etc... bwahahaaha. Sorry, nothing much about in post, i m not really in the mood to blog much today as i'm having a ear blockage or more like a high pressured ear.

As usual, the punctual "sotong" arrived at their destination 1st (mid valley). Oh, not to forget "Hamster", she's on time too. I, however, reached approximately 15 minutes later -Thousand Apologies. Once arrived, we met at the famous bookstore, I couldn't find sotong at 1st, ran through all the sections n finally decided to msg her -she was actually at the business section, wonder where my eyes were looking when i passed that place. =/

I had to inform Hamster about it, but i did that a lil' too early. So end up directing her to other places b4 mentioning that i was in the business section. The rest were not here yet. We strolled all the way to the gardens. Stared at Sushi Zanmai for some time b4 we decided to lunch there. Sotong called Grace, & she found out that she had just become the alarm clock - Grace just woke up. Haha. Some time later, i received a call from "Olive", she seemed confused, wondering where were we??? "I'm already at Zanmai, where r u guys? i don't see anyone". I was at 1st confused too. Good thing she informed me that she was actually at Pasta Zanmai. XD

Another random post. So, these are my Top 5 favourite programmes that i often use for entertainment when i'm seriously bored/ during my spare time (besides msn or other essential ones of course). Let me know if you know any other cool programmes. Would love to try them all out. I'm quite a noob, so i would say i can't use complicated programmes. Plus, i don't like reading manuals, will do by trying an error. Teehee...

1) Sony Vegas Pro
to edit movies + add cool effects. You can also convert many different video formats to various audio types. ^^

2) ULEAD Photo Express
I'm sure you can tell what this is for, as the name stated, it's to enhance photos.

3) Hyper Cam 3
This doesn't do much. But it's useful for me to convert my midi songs to mp3 with the help of Sony Vegas Pro too. What i like most about its features is that i can record the audio straight from the computer (lol, i'm not sure if i put it the right way, but hope u get what i mean).

I have just collected my exam results! PRAISE THE LORD, i have passed!!!! I wouldn't say that my results are that good. Am not 100% satisfied with it, but the marks seem to turn out as i expected. Certainly, there's a lot of effort that has to be put in for the nxt semester. Not to forget those who has always been by my side to encourage me and gave me the spirit and inspiration to study. Thanks peeps! & cheers to those who did great too.
Besides exam results, i collected my medical report too. Rubella and HepB antibodies are sufficient, No need for any booster! 'Hallelujah!'
Oh, and today's 'A message from God' application on facebook was simply mesmerizing. It says: 'There is a time and a season for everything. It may be a time of new beginnings, a time of growth, a time of reaping the harvest of hard work, and a time of rest. Trust this beautiful order. Everything in its time.' This truly blended well with such a blessed day. *touched*
Few days before my results were released, went for a stroll in pavilion. I didn't have much of a mood to shop seriously, guess i was too worried. Went to have lunch at Levain an italian restaurant nearby pavilion. It is known for their spaghetti. Here are some pictures of them.

True Tears vs Angel Beats!

Another 13-episodes & beautiful story just as touching as True Tears. I've just managed to finished all the 13 episodes few minutes ago. Sacrificed my nap to watch it after an almost half-a-day out visiting my grandmama. =)

Somehow, i felt that True Tears is a lil' more straight forward and heartbreaking maybe bcoz i didn't expect which characters will end up together as couples. LOL.

It would be quite meaningless to write out the synopsis here. I guess it's better to watch first than reading the whole plot. Reading it will definitely make the story less exciting and with lil' suspense.

Basically, Angel Beats! is about the battle in a world of after death. The leader of the Shinda Sekai Sensen, Yuri led the rest to rebel against god who destined them to have an unreasonable life during their living days. Yuri believes that those who follow the instructions of Angel (her real name's Kanade) will pass on. However, even those who managed to fulfill their dreams are able to pass on as well. Angel's resolve is different from Yuri's. Her intentions are actually to help people to appreciate their lives given to them; and help them pass on. Both Angel and Yuri's indifferent ideas and misunderstandings had brought them to fight against each other.

Hope you'll enjoy this anime as much as I do. ^^

This song is way fast! the speed is at 180 crotchet beats in a minute. I've been playing it during my study break. Decided to record right after exam. I'm not so good in playing that fast though. Flash back: Even for my exam pieces, i prefer and normally chose songs with moderate speed.

Somehow, this song is rather easy to play, if you are comparing with the other pieces that have tricky rhythm and complicated chords. Another happy tune, with beat and guitar styles similar to that of a few church songs. Oh, and tragically i dropped my handphone while recording this! "Sorry, dear phone!"

End of sem exam is over! phew.... Even though it was only for 3 days, i m seriously lack of sleep. Glad it's over!

Now, it's time to plan my holidays before my results. Will also have to start applying and packing for uk. But, today will be a play day! LOL! i apologize for my randomness and jumbled-up ideas here. Am supposed to take a short nap, but too engrossed with games and checking emails, 1k+ of emails to be read/cleared!!!! This will definitely spoil my eye sight to actually read every single 1 of them.

Things to do: OUTING - have to keep myself up to date with the latest entertainment. be surprised, at this age, i haven't tried skating in my life! shall try it someday... maybe.

MUSIC - indulge in music, a good storybook and snacks! will be working on more piano songs, maybe from naruto and kyou kara maou. Hopefully to find more korean pop scores online too.

GAMES - i need to level up!

DANCE - lol. This sounds funny as i can't dance well. Well, no harm, since no one's looking, it's a good form of exercise.

1) My newly bought smartphone! (htc touch2)

2) WLO games, basically just ANY GAMES. Have been playing kirby on my handphone too! aww, it's just sooo adorable!

3) Most friends are now having their long semester break!!!! am missing all the fun outings their are organizing, left out again! But i've been spending time chatting with them & neglected my studies again? =___+

4) Blogging - what am i doing here early this morning?! should be facing my books man. *Still i continue to type*...................

5) Playing with makeups. Look, i just applied a simple-coloured nail polish! I'll give those creamy coloured ones a try next time.

6) Fingers on the piano. So many songs to learn, so lil' time. I have only 1 more month after exams to dance my fingers on it!

7) Burning dvds as backups. Have loads of stuff in my notebook, have to remove them before i leave for uk.

8) Distracted too by MSN/SMS! haih.....

9)Facebook???? LOL. nah, don't think no.9 is applicable. I'm not so much of a facebook freak/fan. I normally just log in once in awhile to keep in touch.

Okairi! just reached home from a doctor's visit. =P Skipped today's lesson bcoz am down with a flu, haih. How disappointing, just when i started to have the mood to study many things are starting to distract me.

Anyway, my eldest cousin brother has registered for marriage but unfortunately i'll not be able to attend his wedding dinner! ahhh!!!! won't be able to shop for a new dress! =/ while every1 will be enjoying on that day, i'll be the only person studying and starting an independent and responsible life in uk. Well, at least i get to experience snow (i hope) *self comfort*. Here's a snapshot of my cousin n his wife, awww aren't they a sweet couple! CONGRATULATIONS!

Worldcup Dilemma

Hello peeps!

I'm really involved in this year's World Cup! (involved, as in i watched most of the matches). Germany (the Germs. =P) faced the popular England team last night. Glad it was at 10pm, i am still able to watch and stay up till 12, phew! It does not seem like a very fair match during the 1st half of the game. But in the 2nd half, the Germs. really outshined England players' in their skills! Great job, Germans! 4-1 was the score. Glad i rooted for them all way through. They will be facing their tough opponent nxt, ARGentina. *dilemma attacks* Who shall i support?! shld i bet? XD

I heard there's also a Q&A session with SRA PDRM, DBKL, JPN, Alam Flora, BOMBA, etc. broadcasted on RED FM. My family spotted a booth that did body painting and also one that SKETCHES FOR FREE! It's more of a comical image of us, since it's FOC, we tried it for fun ^^

Busy, busy. It's been such a long time since i've updated - AGAIN. So much happened, but so lil' time to update. Firstly, would like to mention about my dispensing exam early this month. It wasn't that easy. Everything seems to be quite a rush since we have to prepare 3 products in 3 hours and it wasn't easy to get the indications and dosage especially for the suppository drug. LOL managed to make an extra suppository, brought it home. It sure looks like a "bullet" to me. 'Ta-da', here's a pic of it:

Glad the exam was over. Now I have to catch up in revision which i have been procrastinating. Seems like the only subject which caught my interest this semester is 'Drugs & Disease". Sounds cool, huh. So many different drugs have been discovered, tough time memorizing here........ Well, will somehow get used to them ^__^

Am relieved exam is over! It seems like only a day has gone by and i am getting tired and bored stiff already. Why is it when someone is about to face exams, he would have the urge to take up a job during summer break; but once holidays have arrived, he would rather sit back & relax? *gives out a deep sigh* What are the plans that awaits me? ???

Anyway, here it is! Another song from the famous Bleach, Houki Boshi. I can't sing it, so have to do with just the playing. My first time accompanied by other instruments, it seems harder to keep in time. I seriously need more practice, will try playing more songs with other instrumentals as well.

A Monotonous Life?

What is it like to have the similar kind of food for days? I have been consuming Porridge for three consecutive days! This reminds me of those living in poverty and hunger, who had to fill their empty stomachs with sweet porridge as often as they can.

I am not in that category though. I had been taking in quite a lot of heaty food and end up catching a common cold. In order to recover as soon as possible, i need to consume more H2O as much as possible to hydrate myself and fight against the "evil" virus.

Besides "extinguishing" virus, I have been watching an anime, Yakitate!! Japan (焼きたて!! ジャぱん).

It carries the meaning 'Freshly Baked!! Japan'. The 'Pan' from the word Japan means 'bread' in Japanese. It is basically about a young boy, Kazuma Azuma who is on his quest to create Japanese Bun that will be widely known. He proceeds to Tokyo in order to expand his horizons at the bread-making chain Pantasia and entered various competitions to achieve his dream.

This anime can be very exaggerating, but apart from that, there are a large number of things we are able to learn from it. According to this series, to bake bread, we can use Microwave or even Rice cooker rather than using oven. This is the recipe for a fluffy bread called 'Japan #2'!

Ingredients:
350g bread flour, 21g butter, 21g sugar, 350cc milk, 180cc water, 5g dry yeast, 6.5g salt.

1) Add flour, sugar, salt, yeast, water, and milk.
2) Knead them.
3) Add in butter and knead until it is not sticky.
4) Shape it.
5) Primary fermentation (leave at a warm place for an hour).
6) Get rid of extra air (by dropping it from a 50 cm height).
7) Secondary fermentation (1 hour).
8) Bake using rice cooker.
9) Turn over a few time to make sure it is well baked.

*Flavouring/ eggs/ dried tealeaves can be added to enhance the taste.

And there you have your very own home baked Japan #2!

It has been some time since i touched my upright piano. It gives out an especially loud bang every time i play it -too loud. Anyway, this is the opening theme of Kuroshitsuji (an anime) called Monochrome No Kiss. It is originally sung by a jrock (japan rock) band, SID.

I find it really cool, so i tried to 'hunt' for the piano sheets. But unfortunately, FREE STUFF do not always exist. So, i attempted it by listening. Played it on my very old, upright piano since it gives a better effect for this particular piece.

Happiness is created within. To achieve that, we have to be optimistic and always try to think in a positive point of view.

Anyway, these are a few of the things I think about when I am free. I actually read them in a newspaper some time before, sent in by AiLeen Wang (i did add in some myself). Try to consider them too, they might make you smile and feel a lot more different than before.

1) Falling in love (though love can hurt at times - think of the happy times)

2) Found out the CD you have always wanted is on sale.
3) Chatting on the phone with your best buds after many years.
4) Waking up and noticed you have a few more hours to sleep.
5) Laughing so hard until your face hurts.
6) Getting mail.
7) A special glance.
8) A hot bath.
9) Finding a RM50 note in your sweater from last time.
10) Winning a competitive game.
11) Baking something for someone special.
12) Giggling.
13) A good conversation.
14) An overseas vacation.
15) Having someone tell you that you are beautiful.
16) Playing with your puppy.
17) Making eye contact with a stranger.
18) Overhearing someone say some thing nice about you.
19) Wrapping presents for someone.
20) Laughing at yourself.
21) Finish all your assignments and homework.
22) Having someone play with your hair.
23) Spending time with your friends/family.
24) Laughing for absolutely no reason at all.
25) Taking a drive at your favourite place.

Wind of New Beginnings Blow~

I had never thought of having my own blog for years until a few weeks ago. My good old friend told me about a cosmetics product, Majolica Majorca (a japanese product - by Shiseido) which FASCINATED me. It is holding a competition which made me curious to check out their new products and also the kits available for joining.

And WOW, the official website, models, pictures and wallpapers are nevertheless remarkable. So, without a second thought, i made up my mind to join the competition. That is why my layout appears to have the wallpaper and themes similar to that for the competition.

So, here i am! i end up with a blog like most people out there.
